Why Bali?
The first retreat I ever attended was a yoga retreat to Bali in 2015. This retreat changed the trajectory of my life. It led me on a path to self discovery and growth which brought me to the place I am today.
When I came together with Jessika, it became clear that our soul work was meant to meet in this land. She had been hosting retreats in Bali for several years, and I had been hosting Reiki Retreats for the past 3 years. Bali was the place where that alignment made sense, energetically and spiritually to bring a Karuna Reiki Training.
This land holds an ancient, nurturing, and deeply compassionate frequency — the same essence embodied within Karuna Reiki®. Here, the land itself becomes a co-facilitator in the training, supporting the release of old patterns, the healing of generational wounds, and the embodiment of your role as a Reiki Master.

My journey into energy work began years ago through my own healing and expansion. After over a decade in event planning and restaurant management, I followed the call to learn Reiki—and it shifted everything. Reiki has profoundly changed my life, grounding me in purpose, deepening my faith, and expanding my capacity to serve.
Through my company, Elevate Healing Events & Retreats, I lead international retreats, sound immersions, and mentorships for spiritual entrepreneurs ready to step into leadership. I am endlessly grateful for the community and the collective ripple of healing this work continues to create.

Jessika is a Reiki Master, somatic healer, and retreat facilitator devoted to guiding women back home to their bodies, intuition, and feminine essence. Her own healing journey began in Bali over a decade ago, where she experienced a profound awakening that transformed her life and path.
Blending energy healing, embodiment practices, and intuitive guidance, Jessika creates deeply safe and sacred spaces for women to release old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and step into their most authentic expression. Her work is rooted in nervous system regulation, sisterhood, and soul-level transformation.

We want you to have a space where you can truly feel comfortable during the retreat.
Each guest will stay in their own Maya Room, with 65 square meters of space, a king bed, private bathroom, balcony, garden, and outdoor shower.
You’ll have everything you need for your stay, from air conditioning and Wi-Fi to a mini-fridge, kettle, wardrobe, working table, and sofa bed.
Whether you’re resting after a full day, journaling outside, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the morning, the room gives you the privacy and space to move through the retreat at your own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?
Yes. Most international travelers are eligible for either a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or an Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) for Indonesia. The visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days if needed. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival, and you may be asked to show proof of onward or return travel.
Do I need to complete an arrival form?
Yes. Indonesia requires travelers to complete an online customs declaration before arrival. We will send you all of the required travel links and instructions prior to your retreat.
Should I apply for an e-VOA or get a Visa on Arrival?
Either option works. We recommend applying for an e-VOA before your trip to save time at the airport, but if you’re eligible, you can also purchase a Visa on Arrival when you land in Bali.
Is there a Bali tourist tax?
Yes. Bali requires an international visitor levy of IDR 150,000 (approximately USD $10) per visitor. This is separate from your visa and can be paid online before your arrival or upon landing.
Which airport should I fly into?
Please book your flight into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar, Bali.
Is airport transportation included?
Yes! We provide complimentary transportation to and from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) on the designated retreat arrival and departure days. If you choose to arrive early or extend your stay, we’re happy to help arrange additional airport transfers for an additional fee.
Can I arrive early or stay after the retreat?
Absolutely! Many of our guests extend their time in Bali. We’re happy to recommend hotels, villas, activities, and transportation to help you make the most of your trip.
What should I pack?
We recommend bringing:

• Hat and sunglasses
• Reef-safe sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• Reusable water bottle
• Light rain jacket (season dependent)

What is the weather like in Bali?
Bali enjoys warm tropical weather year-round, with temperatures typically ranging from 78–88°F (26–31°C). Lightweight clothing is recommended.
Will there be Wi-Fi?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the retreat venue, although speeds may vary depending on the location.
Can I use my phone in Bali?
Yes. We recommend purchasing an eSIM before you travel or buying a local SIM card upon arrival at the airport for affordable data throughout your stay.
What currency is used in Bali?
Indonesia uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Credit cards are accepted at many hotels and restaurants, but we recommend carrying some cash for local shops, markets, and smaller businesses.
Can I drink the tap water?
No. Please drink bottled or filtered water, which will be readily available throughout the retreat.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip delays, cancellations, and lost luggage.
Is Bali Safe?
Yes. Bali is considered one of the safest travel destinations in Southeast Asia. As with any destination, we recommend using common sense, respecting local customs, and keeping your valuables secure.
Can I attend alone?
Absolutely! In fact, many of our guests travel solo. Our retreats are intentionally designed to create a welcoming community, and it’s common for lifelong friendships to form during the experience.
Do I need Reiki experience?
Each retreat has its own prerequisites. Please refer to the retreat page for eligibility requirements. Some retreats welcome complete beginners, while advanced trainings, such as Holy Fire®️ III Karuna Reiki®️ Master Training, require previous Reiki certifications.
How much free time will I have?
Our retreats are thoughtfully balanced with transformational experiences, personal reflection, and free time to relax, receive spa treatments, explore Bali, or simply enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.
